Barbara has been an HCA employee for over one year and a caregiver for over 10 years. ✨WOW!✨ We are so grateful to have such a committed member of our team, our clients rave about her and we are thrilled to be able to recognize her efforts!
Barbara says: “There is so much to love about being a caregiver such as the sense of accomplishment knowing that I’m enhancing my clients’ quality of life and making it possible for them to remain in the comfort of their own home?. Also, to relieve the burden of care for their families is so rewarding to me. I love hearing about the clients’ life experiences and forming a friendship with my clients and their families. My clients would describe me as RELIABLE ☂️, TRUSTWORTHY?, and SHOWING SINCERE COMPASSION AND EMPATHY??. I enjoy working with HCA because that is exactly what it is: I work WITH, not for; we are a team that is passionate about all clients’ care. The office staff all show appreciation for us caregivers as well as offering extra shifts that we can accept or decline as they fit into our schedule.
